Upcoming Workshops: Understanding the Bioassay Report

Understanding a bioassay report can be daunting. To assist our customers in getting the most out of their data, Alloway will be hosting a special 3 hour workshop designed to help you better understand and interpret your report. Terms like NOEC, LOEC, analysis of variance, normality of data, and statistical tests will be broken down by presenter John Hoffman, President of Alloway.

During this workshop, Alloway personal will be sharing some of their insight from over 70 years of combined experience. Our analysts are accomplished experts in the industry, and they are excited to share their knowledge.

  • Paul Crerar, Senior Biologist for Alloway – Bachelor of Science in Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin - Steven’s Point, and 34 years of experience conducting bioassay analyses
  • Richard Rupp, Senior Biologist for Alloway – Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University, Master of Science from Central Michigan University, and over 35 years of experience conducting bioassay analyses

In addition to years of experience in toxicity analysis, Alloway also offers expert bioassay sampling and courier services. Alloway’s field technicians are trained professionals that can help you avoid the hassle of sample collection. For all of our service offerings, Alloway goes above and beyond the industry standards when it comes to risk management by protecting our customers through general and professional liability insurance. Alloway is the safe and reliable choice for bioassay testing and sampling services.

All Alloway customers with a bioassay analysis scheduled in 2014 are invited to attend these workshops. Please note that group sizes will be limited to 6 attendees and preference will be given to Alloway bioassay customers.
