Maximum Advantage® Basic MDLS was designed for smaller laboratories that run a minimal number of parameters. MA Basic MDLS requires seven or more data points to calculate the MDL. If less than seven points are entered the software will remind you of the seven point minimum and will not allow you to continue without meeting the requirement. Furthermore, if one or more of the replicate results are outside of the permissible limits a warning will notify you that the study is invalid and the level of analyte in the reagent water was below the determined MDL.

MA Basic MDLS automatically calculates the mean, percent recovery, standard deviation, and the T value after a minimum of seven data points are entered. A graphical curve will also be produced on the same spreadsheet that the data points are entered.
