With this program, the amount of hand recording
that your analysts do is up to you. Maximum Advantage®
Quality Control Software (MAQCS) offers the option of printing
data sheets designed to suit your specific needs. Data sheets can
be printed blank or with laboratory identifications. In addition,
blank control charts with the current limits indicated can be printed
if desired.
All data entered into the MAQCS
program is assigned to a user defined batch. The program automatically
numbers the batch to eliminate the possibility of duplicating batch
numbers. Any information about the quality control for a particular
batch can be printed out, showing either summary or detail. This
is a quick and easy way to provide QC information for clients or
for internal review.
Each entry screen displays a chart with the most
recent data points, allowing the analyst to see immediately if the
point just entered is an extreme value. Similarly, MAQCS can generate control charts at any time, using any
number of points specified. The QC Update feature allows you to
view the number of data points that exist for one analyte, or for
all analytes, since the last time limits were generated.
 
Maximum Advantage® Quality Control
Software simplifies data entry by only bringing up the
data entry screens that apply to the analyte of interest. Therefore
the analyst is sure to enter everything that has been assigned.
The ability of the laboratory to enter its own true values and allowable
limits into the system eliminates the need for entering the same
value, which saves the analyst time and reduces human error. When
an out-of-control value is entered, the program offers the analyst
the option to accept the data as out of control or to correct any
entry error. Changes are archived for management review.
