Traceability of Analytical Measurements and Calibrations

WEB-EX INTERNET TRAINING AGENDA

Who should participate: This one-hour course is directed toward laboratory directors, managers, analysts, quality control officers, and operators who oversee or perform laboratory or field measurements, and particularly those who may be called upon to defend scientific data. This course will benefit those specifically who prepare reagents and solutions, and who must trace those back to the manufacturer for any given analytical batch.

Learning objectives: Attendees will learn how to defend data based upon reagent traceability. You will learn the essential requirements of reagent traceability. After the course, participants will know how to inspect incoming reagents, document reagents that meet acceptance criteria, label containers, determine reagent expiration dates, control of standards and solutions preparation, establish the process to close reagents and remove from inventory, and define the analytical data sheet format.

Course Description:
Specific requirements for reagent traceability will be reviewed and used to establish compliance with a formal program necessary to trace reagents and standards to the manufacturer for each analytical batch.
