Traceability of Analytical Measurements and Calibrations

WEB-EX INTERNET TRAINING AGENDA

Who should participate: This one-hour course is directed toward laboratory directors, managers, analysts, quality control officers, and operators who oversee or perform laboratory or field measurements, and particularly those who may be called upon to defend scientific data.

Learning objectives: Attendees will learn how to defend data based upon measurements requiring calibration and documentation of calibration. You will learn the essential requirements of calibrations, their relationship to analytical data, and the procedures necessary to document the process. After the course, participants will know what types of instrumentation requires calibration, how to record the process, and method specific calibrations required.

Course Description:
Specific requirements for documentation will be reviewed and used to establish compliance with a formal program for traceability of analytical measurements and calibrations.
