Basic Math for Operators Series

This spring, Alloway will be offering a new series titled Basic Math for Operators. This new training program features individual 1 hour topics that are part of a comprehensive series. Participants can choose to attend 1, 2, or all 3 courses. Each course will be approved for 1 Ohio EPA contact hour, water and wastewater.

With small class sizes and more individualized attention, our instructors will help you better understand averages, expressions of numbers, conversion factors, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and proportions. In addition, our instructors will demonstrate how to use Microsoft Excel to perform basic calculations and attendees will be sent home with electronic copies of an example spreadsheet.

The first 3 courses in the series (Basic Math 1, Basic Math 2, Basic Math 3) will be offered at Alloway’s Lima laboratory on Friday, April 7th, 2017 (REGISTRATION IS FULL) and Friday, May 5th from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. and then again at Alloway’s Marion laboratory on Wednesday, April 12th, 2017 (REGISTRATION IS FULL) from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. The standard fee is $40 per course. Alloway’s routine analytical customers receive a discounted rate of $15 per course, totaling $45 if you register for Basic Math courses 1-3.
