At the beginning of each year, the US EPA notifies NPDES permit holders of their requirement to participate in the annual Discharge Monitoring Report - Quality Assurance (DMR-QA) study under Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 308. If you received a notification letter and Alloway is performing analyses in support of your permit, please email your completed analyte check lists to rhonda.morris@alloway.com for Alloway Marion analyzed data, or lana.jackson@alloway.com for Alloway Lima analyzed data.
The following are important dates for the DMR-QA Study:
- March 22nd - DMR-QA 39 study opens
- Prior to April 12th – Permittees to return verification form to the state coordinator indicating receipt of Study 39 announcement
- July 19th – DMR-QA 39 study closes
- Prior to August 16th – PT provider must provide laboratory with graded report
- Prior to August 30th – Alloway must email graded report to permittees
- September 13th – Permittees must send their completed data package to the EPA state coordinator
- November 8th – Permittees must submit corrective action reports to the state coordinator
